The later sunrise is really starting to mess with me. It is still dark out when I am waking up, giving no hint of the type of day that lies ahead, and because it has been gray and cloudy the last several mornings I woke up in a bit of a funk this morning expecting more of the same today. I was pleasantly surprised to find clear skies with streaks of pink and red stretching edge to edge. Of course the usual entourage of dogs and cats accompanied us for a morning walk, enjoying the simple pleasures like smelling the flowers and itching scratches on the macadam road.
