This morning was pretty chilly, with frost on the ground and everything. It was a subtle reminder that there is no such thing as a free lunch. If we want clear skies and a bright, colorful sunrise we have to accept that there is no snuggly cloud blanket holding in the previous day's warmth. Now, it's not all bad, since cold exposure plays a role in energizing our mitochondria. But still, it was tough grounding today!

Kicking off the flip-flops this morning was an easy call. The "pain" of the cold was actually an invigorating experience, not to mention the potential of electron exchange. There are compromises and choices to be made all around us, all the time. It is important to pay attention and recognize those moments so we can make the right choices.
