Well, how do you like that? We did it! That was 365 Sunrises. I gotta tell you, I'm glad that's over. Boy, am I going to sleep in tomorrow!

Just kidding!

So, now what? I am going to continue catching every sunrise, but if you need inspiration for your own daily sunrise routine, you're on your own. Actually, that's not true. I won't abandon you entirely. I will still be here roughly weekly, hopefully covering topics of a little more substance. Also, if you need help and want to work with a wonderful wellness advisor, head on over to Alternatively, if you're old-fashioned and want to work with a physician, albeit one who has a slightly different philosophy about how medical care should be, head on over He may look somewhat familiar. Last, but not least, I will leave you with a 2024 action plan. It's simple. Ready?

  1. Get outside at sunrise.

  2. Get outside about 1 hour after sunrise.

  3. Get outside as much as you can the rest of the day.

  4. Get outside at sunset.

  5. Do Steps 1-4 barefoot whenever possible, or with hands on a tree or other plant.

  6. Turn off as much artificial light as possible after sunset, especially phones, tablets, computers and TV's.

It may seem a little daunting, but start with Step 1 and I am sure you will start feeling so much better you'll want to add Step 2, then 3, and on down the list. Give it a try. It is so safe I don't even feel a need to add a medical disclaimer this time.
