Day 152, 73-79

Dr. Sunshine

Ah, what a nice little change of scenery. We are at Southwick Beach on Lake Ontario. It has the feel of the ocean without the sharks! The only other difference is that this morning the wind and water are very calm, so almost no wave action. Even on a windless day the ocean usually has some waves. But the birds are making plenty of noise to make up for it. In fact, the birds were my alarm clock this morning. They start singing about 30 minutes before sunrise, and they woke me up just in time to catch the sunrise. I think it was the first time that I actually had to rouse Mrs. Dr. Sunshine. She is usually the first one up and about.
