Day 34, or The Coldening

How cold was it for this morning's sunrise walk, you ask? This cold:

Colder than yesterday, in fact. Cold enough that I didn't risk un-gloved digits for any other photos. However, there was no wind this morning so it actually didn't feel as chilly compared to the slap in the face Mother Nature served up yesterday. Even though we didn't have sun (or heat), the sky was fairly bright and there was no noise pollution of modern society. Just the crunching of the snow under foot and a lone chickadee. A pleasant surprise as this weather isn't even for the birds at this point, although it did sound sort of like one of those toys when the battery is running low.
