Acclimatization For the Win!

This is as good as it gets lately, so I'm counting it. It was another foggy morning, and cold as well. But Mrs. Dr. Sunshine and I have been continuing with the grounding in spite of the cold, wet, not yet but almost frost covered ground. And it is paying off, as I realized when Sunshine, Jr. was considering wearing socks and boots to walk to our kayak put-in later in the morning. I'm not sure what he was thinking he would do once there as wet feet are unavoidable when shoving off. I didn't give a second thought to sporting the sandals, because my tootsies are fully acclimated! To his credit, Jr. did tough it out with sandals as well. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention Little Miss Sunshine, who came along in water shoes with nary a complaint, and caught the first fish.
